TALES OF MODERN FOLKLORE

Joanne Haywood established her London studio in 2001. A decade later she moved to the Kentish countryside where her studio is surrounded by woodland, orchards and wildlife. Her work is informed by nature, the changing seasons, folklore and mythology.

“Haywood's work has over the years been exhibited extensively…indicative of the importance of her voice in the art- jewellery landscape. Creating art that becomes at one with its wearer and collector hold the greatest value, and perhaps the deepest connection too”. Mazzi Odu
